Wireless Control of Multi-Level Lighting

SwitchGenie™ is a “brains-in-the-ballast” product which allows users to turn on one lamp at a time in up to a four lamp fixture using the existing wall switch.

“Simply install the SwitchGenie™ ballast in a fixture,” comments company president, Jim Loughrey, “and you’ll see an energy savings anywhere from 50% to 75% depending on the number of lamps you turn on.”

The SwitchGenie™ is a microprocessor enabled ballast that responds to your existing wall switch activation and energizes one lamp when first turned on. Toggle the light switch off and back on in two seconds and another lamp turns on – and so on up to four lamps.

For fixtures having more than four lamps, the company offers the SwitchGenie™ Primary Switch. The "Switch" controls the amount of light from a fixture turning on each ballast individually. Wireless mesh routing RF controls eliminate the need for low voltage wires. No new power wiring is required. Use daylight harvesting sensors, motion detectors, time clocks, local switches or Web Based software to automatically control the lights.
